Apparently there is a scarce variety of Showa 21 50 sen which rays appear under the phoenix. This is very likely caused by die clash from the bottom of the wheat at the obverse under the text 50 sen. Nevertheless, such die clash are rather scarce. Also much rarer is the 50 sen minted in Showa 22. Considered as rare.
